I was so excited when Laurie contacted me about a family session and asked for a location with some fall colors. While I love shooting in the desert, it’s always nice to escape up the mountain and enjoy some cooler weather with gorgeous colors all around. I’d have to say that Mount Lemmon did a splendid job of delivering fall colors this year! It was incredibly gorgeous up on the mountain. The leaves had all changed color and so many were covering the forest floor. Add in the pine trees and you’d never even know that 45 minutes before we’d been surrounded by cactus.

I had the best time photographing everyone. I love it when you can catch the true personality of the family together and see just how much they enjoy laughing and being together. And I love the outfits that Laurie chose for her family to wear. It all went perfectly with the theme.

And you always have to get the Christmas card worthy photo! There may have been multiple “fuzzy pickles” yelled out and snapping but everyone was such good sports and we even got the dogs to cooperate! Thanks Nulk family! We had a blast with you guys!
